A “Dental Home” for your child is extremely important. The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends that children visit the dentist 6 months after their first tooth appears but no later than their first birthday. Bringing your child in at this age allows Dr. Amy to

2. introduce/educate the parent to proper oral hygiene techniques
3. start to build a foundation of trust with your child/alleviate fear
